How to bid if you are not able to visit us on the day. Simply let us know the lot number and the maximum price you would pay for a lot. We will bid on your behalf up to that amount, as if you were in the room. The price you bid is not normally the starting price, we will bid one stage more than the bid that is in the room. If the room bids £9, and you have given us a bid of £15 you would get it for £10. Not the £15 you have bid. To pay the full £15 there would have to be a bid in the room of £14, if there was another postal bid of £15 and your bid was also £15 the other person would get it if their bid was in first. The prices shown are estimates, most items will have a reserve of 75%, a few will be reserved at the estimate. If you need more information please contact us.
